Okay, so this is a longer version if you aren’t bored so far. Tbh, I still don’t know what my title is at my ‘Day Job’. I work on the Infrastructure Engineering team.

I admit, I don’t have a traditional background like most people. From engineering to System Architecture to Medicine to Research. Bound to do what I must. You know?

It’s hard to explain what I do every day but it’s never boring. I’ve previously worked at CB Insights, Rubenstein Tech, and MeetUp.

I became an EMT in New York State in 2022. Soon after, in 2023, I went to paramedic school to add a slightly higher level of medical background. (And then I dropped out after almost acing the first semester). Will I go back? TBD. But until then, it’s a DNF.

I realized that I was only passionate about solving active problems in medicine (applications) but had little to no interest in the theoretical aspects of medicine. (Although, it has its importance)

When I’m not in the city, you’ll find me running on the Hoboken waterfront, eating at Qdoba, or occasionally in the Hoboken library hoarding books.

I have a bachelor’s in computer engineering and a master’s in cybersecurity, with a tiny background in emergency medicine. I juggle fluency in three languages while butchering another three. I firmly believe in open-source, sharing work that could be a lifeline for others grappling with similar problems.

Most days, I’m firing all cylinders to get to the next day successfully, but then there are also evenings when all I crave is comfort food from Uber Eats and a rerun of my favorite Flash & White Collar episode in bed. And then there are also days, when I’m just winging it, questioning everything, including my purpose.

A few causes I strongly support & donate to are internet Privacy, Health Care, Immigration, and Animal Welfare.

Doctors bury their mistakes. Lawyers put theirs in jail. Architects put theirs on display. Infrastructure engineers expose theirs to the world, where every misconfiguration, overlooked dependency, or security flaw can lead to outages, data breaches, and globally disrupted services.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Where ambitions burn with relentless might.
The stars above call out my name,
Through trials and tears, I’ll stake my claim.

In the forge of struggle, my spirit is cast,
Enduring the storms, I’ll not be outlast.
With every challenge, I sharpen my blade,
Carving a path where dreams never fade.

Sweat mingles with blood as I rise each day,
Relentless in pursuit, come what may.
For in the crucible of endless strife,
I find the resolve that fuels my life.

Astronaut dreams are etched in the night,
Guided by stars, I ascend in flight.
No surrender in this relentless fight,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
